About Eric Paulson

I've been in the real estate business since 1981, and I bring more than 40 years of experience to help you achieve your goals and dreams.

I started as an agent in 1981, and five years later I earned my real estate broker's license and began originating residential mortgage loans at the same time. I continued doing both for over 20 years. I know that every client brings their own specific needs, and it's my goal to meet those needs with a wide variety of mortgage products and the most personal service available.

Obtaining a mortgage can be stressful, so I'll explain the whole process up front and keep you completely informed with constant, personalized communication. Using modern technology, I can have you approved and clear to close in as little as 10 business days.

As a mortgage broker, I have access to more than 20 investors and a wide range of loan products to fit almost any situation — from less-than-perfect credit all the way to million-dollar loans. My goal is to give you options across different programs so you can make an informed decision about what's best for you. I especially enjoy working with first-time homebuyers, because it feels like I'm delivering the American Dream.

When I'm not working, I enjoy playing golf and ice skating. I teach kids here in Austin how to ice skate and play hockey — and believe me, I get way more out of it than they do.
